The Adequan® Global Dressage Festival Uses Premier Equestrian’s Safe Arena Products

Premier Equestrian, Inc. is a Major Sponsor for the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) in Wellington, Florida.

Premier Equestrian supplied the dressage rings and flower boxes to the AGDF including the beautifully appointed multi-rail Brentina arena used in the main competition arena. Touting products that are safe and affordable, Premier Equestrian has been manufacturing dressage training and competition products for almost 20 years.

Horse Safety and Wellness Come First

From the inception of Premier Equestrian, President and Co-Founder Heidi Zorn wanted to create dressage products that were more than just a little white fence. There were multiple safety problems with existing products at the time. Using the wellness of the horse as a guide, Zorn and her team started designing products that emphasized safety first. The results were vast improvements to the standard dressage equipment being used. Heidi grew up riding hunters and jumpers, eventually transitioning into dressage. Throughout that time, she saw how many arenas lacked the correct type of equipment. A dressage arena is not only necessary for competition, but a crucial tool for correct dressage training. Heidi also noticed many products were clearly unsafe, low in quality, and very expensive. There was a definite opportunity in the market for dressage training products that were safe, easy to use, and affordable.

That was 20 years ago. Over the years, Premier Equestrian has consistently delivered innovative, safe, and affordable designs for dressage arenas, letter boxes, and other dressage related products, from training videos to arena surfaces. The entire Premier Equestrian team is composed of passionate horse enthusiasts, competitors, and trainers. Everything is focused on the well-being of the horse and the improvement of performance.

Performance Improvements

Not that long ago, competition rules still allowed the use of chains and fixed multi-rail arenas that were riveted together. These designs are unsafe and put horses at risk. This picture shows the unsafe nature of fixed multi-rail designs. The horse has stepped through the fixed rail arena panel, the panel is stuck onto the horse’s leg and the horse and rider are in real danger of injury. This particular instance affected the horse long after the competition ended. This year, the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival has renewed its pledge to safety and wellness of the horse. Premier Equestrian has provided all the dressage products for AGDF. Not only do each of our arena designs offer added safety features, they provide a beautiful display for competitors to perform in.

Each of the dressage rings at AGDF use one-piece, molded base cones. The rails are designed to pop out easily and are engineered with impact modifiers. These elements provide you and your horse with a layer of safety that often goes unnoticed.

Not only was Premier Equestrian the obvious choice for AGDF, but many other venues choose Premier products as well. The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, the FEI Dressage World Cup Final in Las Vegas 2020, and the Pan American Games have chosen Premier Equestrian as the supplier of dressage competition equipment. You will find Premier Equestrian products at some of the most prestigious facilities and events around the world.
