Rotating S-Tines & Coil Tines

Two rows of tines can be used at the same time or independently. Tines can rotate 90 degrees to accommodate ripping and lifting, or set angle back for finishing and fluffing.

Double Rollers

Front and rear rollers provide balance of the unit as well as extra compaction capabilities. The double rollers ensure the tine depth stays stationary and provide protection from digging too deep into the surface.

Arena Grooming & Maintenance

Grooming and maintenance are key factors in achieving quality arena footing. Grooming enables you to maintain a consistent riding surface for your equine athlete, avoid footing irregularities, and condition your sand and footing additives. Regularly mixing and leveling footing prevents problems. A professional-type groomer can overturn and redistribute the varying sand particle sizes and keep additives mixed thoroughly. Footing which has migrated out to the edges of the arena will need to be pulled back in.

We are very pleased with our groomer! The sand texture, depth, and level of firmness we can achieve is consistent across the arena and the drag is easy to use. Furthermore, the more we use it, the more level our arena is becoming. As I might have mentioned, the previous groomer had created a rolling surface very rapidly after we had had the arena professionally leveled. I am so glad that we made the switch to the Premier Equestrian groomer – it was absolutely worth it!

*Please Note: Premier Equestrian can guide you to find a footing solution suitable for you and your budget. However, unless you are contracting our consulting services, choosing the correct sand and mixing the product is your responsibility. Results can and will vary depending on what material is available in your area. If you choose to perform your own installation, which many people do, Premier Equestrian can not be and is not responsible or liable for your installation.

Sand Note: All our footings are designed to be mixed with sand. There are, however, significant variations in sand in each area. Not all sands are appropriate to use as footing for your equestrian arena. There are many factors you should consider in determining the appropriate sand, including, without limitation, your riding style, the number of horses using the ring and the duration of such ring use, watering capability for the ring, the status of any current existing footing materials, seasonal weather conditions, and whether you ride on an indoor or outdoor horse arena. Combining Master’s Blend Footing with the correct type and depth of sand is required in order to build a safe arena surface. Please choose properly sized arena sand based on your proposed use. Feel free to call and discuss your arena questions with one of our representatives today!
