Mill Spring, NC (July 10, 2015) Riders Eduardo Borberg and Sully Williams rode for the blue in the Premier Equestrian .80m Low Jumper Division during the first week of the Tryon International Equestrian Center’s 2015 Summer Show Series. Both riders were confident throughout their rides, and their hard work and preparation paid off for early wins in the series.

Premier Equestrian has proudly chosen to sponsor the 2015 Tryon Summer Series and is pleased to congratulate these two up and coming riders and their mounts. “It’s always nice to know companies are behind the sport and supporting it to make events bigger and better,” said Borberg. “Their sponsorships help the sport gain more professionalism.” Borberg, who trains with Luciano Dome of Cavalia Stables in Southwest Ranches, Florida, took the lead aboard the gelding he is currently leasing, County. Borberg had a smooth, well-planned ride and says he is happy with how he executed his strategy. “I had confidence in what I was doing. I was ready to accept the outcome.” He plans to continue competing throughout the Tryon Summer Series.

Williams and her mount Kiss Kiss, a ten-year-old Oldenburg mare owned by Kendra Bullington, rose to victory against 20 other combinations. New to the jumper ring, Williams said, “I’m from the hunters so I’ve been having trouble getting used to the pace; it was the first time I actually felt comfortable going fast. When I won, it felt great.”

The Tryon Summer Series hosts a variety of Hunter and Jumper classes throughout the four-week series. The facility, which opened in June of 2014, is becoming a highly respected venue on the east coast. “I like the atmosphere at Tryon. It’s very professional and everyone is trying to do their best, making it very competitive, which I like,” Borberg said, crediting the venue after his first time showing there. “The organization at Tryon has been great too,” he added.

Premier Equestrian and the Tryon International Equestrian Center share their dedication to the partnership between horse and rider that continues as the pairs ride up the levels in competition. Kathryn Rustad, Premier Equestrian’s Internal Marketing Director, states that Tryon International Equestrian Center “allows more areas of the country to attain a higher level of horse showing, and is conscious about the health and safety of horses and riders.”
