Premier Equestrian Continues Fall Favorite of Presenting Blue Ribbons to Tryon Jumpers

Mill Springs, NC (October 28, 2016) – This fall season, Premier Equestrian – a leading producer of first-class horse jumps, dressage arenas, and arena footing – has partnered with the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) in Mill Springs, North Carolina. As an Official Sponsor of the TIEC, Premier Equestrian has proudly supported a wealth of hunter, jumper, and dressage riders who have exhibited their best show ring efforts throughout the Tryon Fall Show Series. Premier Equestrian rewarded each clear-round competitor with a blue ribbon in its sponsored class, the 0.80m Jumper Division

Riders of all levels have enjoyed their trips in the Premier Equestrian 0.80m Jumper Division, as the confidence-building rounds benefit both professionals and beginners. Dennis Murphy Jr. of Longview Farms in Alabama has been training multiple students as they blaze through the 0.80m class for the blue. He expressed his appreciation for the rare height division, saying, “I love the .80 and .90 meter classes. They allow inexperienced riders the chance to practice genuine courses in a top-notch venue. It’s great preparation for debuting at the child/adult level with an understanding of ‘A’ level courses and expectations.”

Fellow professional show jumper Harold Chopping has brought his Solo Show Stables of nearby Southern Pines, North Carolina to the TIEC since the venue’s inception in 2014. Chopping coaches an average of 15 horse and rider combinations, as well as competing himself. He has garnered notable results, such as a recent Reserve Champion placing in Tryon Week Five $25,000 Odom Engineering, PLLC Grand Prix. Chopping commends the TIEC as one of the Nation’s premier equestrian venues, stating, “The jumps are beautiful and impressive. Our favorite parts of the show are the Saturday Night Grand Prix classes, and that the TIEC team is always so helpful.”

Also taking center stage at the TIEC this fall is international Grand Prix show jumper and “Premier Equestrian” Todd Minikus. Minikus has campaigned multiple horses at the TIEC among his string of elite jumpers, most notably his famed mount Quality Girl. The pair took center stage at the TIEC in the recent Saturday Night Lights $380,000 Rolex CSI5* Grand Prix. Minikus has proudly been an official Premier Equestrian since 2014, housing the American-made horse jumps at his Wellington, Florida facility.  With a packed show schedule competing across the nation and internationally, Minikus can still have a little piece of home with him through the Premier Equestrian materials at the TIEC.
