Tryon, NC (September 27, 2018) – Four horse and rider combinations of varying ages and experiences made up the outstanding Dutta Corporation US Dressage Team for the World Equestrian Games. Premier Equestrian athletes Laura Graves and her own Verdades, Steffen Peters on Four Wind Farm’s, Supenkasper, Adrienne Lyle on Betsy Juliano LLC’s, Salvino, and Premier Equestrian Winner Kasey Perry Glass on Diane Perry’s, Goeklintgaards Dublet. The games where held September 11-23 at the beautiful Tryon International Equestrian Center, in Tryon, North Carolina.
The incredible team of riders who are coached by Robert Dover, and Premier Equestrian Debbie McDonald secured a team Silver medal and their spot at the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics. With a final team score of 233.229 percent the Americans proved they are force to be reckoned with, and all four made into the next phase of individual competition. “I’m really proud of what we, as a team were able to accomplish here.” Said Graves, who went on to win the highest placing at a world championships for the US, taking a second silver in the Grand Prix Special.
