Nampa, ID (October 8, 2018) – All the glitz and glam of the Arabian Horse Associations Sport Horse Nationals was no match for the shining personality of one incredible trainer. Amy Miller caught the eye of the judges and spectators alike winning three championship titles and the Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award.

Always eager to give back to those who contribute to creating a positive and supportive competition atmosphere, leading footing and arena company Premier Equestrian was pleased to contribute to the excitement by presenting its Premier Equestrian Award to one lucky competitor at this year’s competition. “The award was voted on by spectators and show participants so it really means a lot.” Said Miller after winning the Premier Equestrian Sportsmanship Award.

Miller who is from Chino Hills, Ca. competed two horses over the weekend, and had her student with her one horse for their first ever nationals. Miller competed Jan Roeder’s eight-year-old Half Arabian gelding Aristocrat CD, who was bred by Barbara Pickering, to a top ten placing in 3rd Level, Reserve Champion in Show Hack and 4th Level, and took home the Champion title in Under Saddle. She also rode Emerald Hill Arabian’s ten-year-old pure bred stallion AUR Mystic Illusion, to Reserve Champion in 3rd Level, and Champion in the Under Saddle and Show Hack. “I was so impressed by how they dug deep and did their jobs all weekend.” Said Miller of her two mounts outstanding performances. Going forward to next year Miller hopes to bring both mounts up to the FEI level and continue their training in a positive manner.

Miller seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed her time at nationals, “Seeing everyone, catching up with old friends, cheering everyone on, it’s more than just another horse show.” Miller was also very quick to note and thank all the show staff, and volunteers for a wonderful showing experience that was capped off with a special award win courtesy of Premier Equestrian.
