Sandy, Utah (December 9, 2020) – Premier Equestrian, Inc., is pleased to announce that their Premier ProTex footing product is being used in the WEF Hi-Pro™ Footing Surface, formulated by Travis Gould and JTWG, Inc., at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC).
Three new arenas at PBIEC—including the DeNemethy, the Grand Hunter, and the Rost Arenas—were recently re-engineered and reinstalled with WEF Hi-Pro™ Footing Surface in anticipation of the 2021 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), which runs January 6 through April 4. These three new arenas are designed to have specific and different performance level based on their intended usage such as hunters, jumpers, etc. The application of WEF Hi-Pro™ Footing Surface allows for this level of optimization in competition.
Premier Equestrian ProTex® geotechnical amendment was used in these three new PBIEC arenas as one of the many components which comprise a WEF Hi-Pro™ arena. ProTex® is a high-performance footing product that features a proprietary blend of textiles and fibers. Premier ProTex® helps protect horses by offering excellent impact absorption, stability, cushion, rebound, grip, and high traction.

Last year, the company had the pleasure of supplying Premier ProTex® footing product and OTTO Sport base mats to upgrade PBIEC’s International Arena.
