Premier Equestrian, Inc., recently had the pleasure of teaming up with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help make a local girl’s horse arena dreams come true. This fall, Premier Equestrian CEO Mark Neihart and President Heidi Zorn presented 17-year-old Molly Jensen—a Cystic Fibrosis fighter and survivor—with her wish of a new riding arena. Jensen is an eventer who lives with her horse, Kitty, and her family in Huntsville, Utah.
“Molly is an amazing person with a generous heart,” said Zorn. “She loves horses and the equestrian arts, and she has big plans for her equestrian future. We are so thrilled to be involved with the Make-a-Wish Foundation for this project. It’s an honor for us. Congratulations, Molly!”
Jensen started riding in an equestrian therapeutic program where her love for horses was quickly realized and her talent for horsemanship was discovered. After moving around the country for several years, her family finally settled in beautiful Huntsville on a 10-acre farm where Jensen could focus on training, riding, and pursuing her passion. Her persistent heath battles have not slowed her down as she took up eventing as her discipline. Jensen trains several days a week, has a bridle training business for local horse breeders, and keeps eight horses at her family’s farm.
Premier Equestrian will help rehabilitate an existing arena on Jensen’s family farm by providing engineered arena building plans, sand selection advice, and a Crumb Rubber Footing Product. This will greatly improve the riding conditions for Jensen and her horse, Kitty. The footing product helps reduce compaction while increasing cushion and energy return.
