Wellington, FL (March 14, 2016) – Athletes put considerable strain on their joints and body, as they strive to continuously better themselves and perform above average. Premier Equestrian is committed to reaching a higher standard as well, by protecting the wellbeing of the athletes in the equestrian world— the horses. Premier Equestrian and OTTO Sport International will be sponsoring the next Lunch and Learn session, on Thursday, March 17, from 11:30am to 1:00pm at The Wellington Club of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (the Winter Equestrian Festival show grounds). The educational Lunch and Learn session will be titled “Biomechanics of the Horses’ Movement.” The session is free to riders, trainers, and horse owners.

Premier Equestrian President Heidi Zorn will appear as a featured speaker at the event. Zorn founded Premier Equestrian and is a dedicated equestrian in her own right, riding in the hunter, jumper, and dressage disciplines. Zorn and Premier Equestrian have worked to achieve safe, durable, and quality arena footing, and have teamed up with OTTO Sport International as the exclusive North American distributor of the OTTO Sport-und Reiplatz GmbH mat system. “We’ve expanded our arena offering immensely by teaming up with OTTO Sport. They offer an arena system of drainage, concussion, biomechanics, and longevity,” said Zorn. “The OTTO Sport system is a proven product that has been around for over thirty years. Many arenas are still standing and performing as well as they did the first day the system was installed thirty years ago.”

This high-tech system has already been a success in the arenas of top equestrians in the U.S. since Premier Equestrian began to distribute it. Olympian Steffen Peters and his wife, USDF Gold Medalist Shannon Peters, have equipped their competition-sized dressage arena using the OTTO Sport system. The Otto Sport arena system will also be used in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during the 2016 Olympics.

To learn more about this advanced arena system and other expert arena products and footing that are available to today’s equestrians, make sure to stop by to join fellow horse lovers for lunch, learning, and chances to win great prizes at the upcoming Lunch and Learn.
