Wellington, FL (February 17, 2017) – As a longtime supporter and official sponsor of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, Premier Equestrian is once again recognizing hard-working members of the equestrian community during this year’s winter competition season. The company was pleased to present the most recent Premier Equestrian Award to mother-daughter team Terri and Devon Kane of Diamante Farms for the family’s generous sponsorship of the international dressage show series. The Kanes were presented with a tri-colored Premier Equestrian Award ribbon, engraved plaque, and the official title of “Premier Equestrian.”

Premier Equestrian, a company that specializes in manufacturing top-notch dressage arenas, footing, horse jumps, and more, presents the award to worthy recipients throughout the winter dressage competition season, which runs through March 25, 2017 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington.

Diamante Farms, also based in Wellington, has long been a dedicated supporter of the equestrian communities. In addition to acting as presenting sponsor of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival’s CDI 5* competition since its inception six years ago, Diamante Farms also sponsors the Under 25 Division at the show series and supports the Florida International Youth Dressage Championships and Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center, amongst other organizations and events. In addition, Diamante Farms keeps up with a busy competition and training schedule while maintaining a world-class dressage facility, which has been designated as a US Equestrian Elite Training Center.

As another successful Diamante Farms CDI 5* week recently concluded at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, it seemed a natural choice for Premier Equestrian to honor the Kanes with the title of “Premier Equestrians.” The company is dedicated to the advancement of equestrian sports, and commends the Kanes for sharing this dedication. Heidi Zorn, President of Premier Equestrian, said, “Along with being committed to the sport of dressage in the Wellington community, Terri and Devon are two of the sport’s most personable and lovely people. Even under pressure at a horse show you will often find Terri and Devon pitching in for others and always sporting a smile. That means a lot.”

Based in Sandy, Utah for over a decade, Premier Equestrian provides affordable, high-quality footing and equipment for America’s arenas. The company can drastically improve existing riding surfaces for a reasonable cost, and can build a brand new state-of-the-art arena from the base up. Premier Equestrian has provided dressage arenas for top competitions such as the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships, the U.S. Dressage Finals, and the 2010 World Equestrian Games. Its arena footing is installed at The Del Mar National horse show.

Premier Equestrian offers world-class footing to suit every discipline, from dressage to hunters and jumpers. Wellington, FL (January 20, 2017) – Official dressage arena of U.S. Equestrian, Premier Equestrian, believes that it’s just as important to honor riders who display exemplary sportsmanship and dedication to equestrian sports as it is to honor those who earn the highest scores in the show ring.

As a longtime supporter of the iconic Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, Premier Equestrian is once again spending the winter show season recognizing hard-working members of the dressage community who act as role models in their sport. The footing, dressage arena, and horse jump manufacturer is awarding selected riders with the Premier Equestrian Award throughout the 2017 Adequan Global Dressage Festival competition season.

The winner of this year’s first Premier Equestrian Award is successful trainer and competitor Betsy Steiner of Frenchtown, New Jersey and Wellington, Florida. Steiner is a U.S. Dressage Federation gold medalist and has represented the U.S. in the World Equestrian Games. She and her daughter, Jessie, have a barn full of top students and horses at all levels of training.

Steiner was competing Swiss W, owned by Whitney Bailey, when she earned the Premier Equestrian Award at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. “I’m delighted to be able to show this lovely horse,” says Steiner. “She is a dream horse for me, and it’s her first season at the FEI level. This show was my first attempt at Prix St. Georges with her, and she behaved really well.” Steiner has plenty to keep her busy in Florida during the winter show circuit. “I have great horses, great owners, and great students,” she explains, “so we are really looking forward to a good season.” The Premier Equestrian award was a wonderful start to the weeks of competition ahead.

The 2017 Adequan Global Dressage Festival, now in its sixth year, is held at The Stadium at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center from January 12 to March 25. It includes seven weeks of CDI competition with concurrent national shows as well as four weeks of FEI World Cup qualifying events. The Premier Equestrian award will be presented several times throughout the season. Winners receive a tri-colored ribbon, an engraved plaque, and the official title of “Premier Equestrian.”

Steiner has this advice for dressage riders who are working hard to progress up the levels: “Continue to love your horse. Be patient, and first and foremost take care of and love your horse and continue to love the sport.”

Premier Equestrian shares Steiner’s love for horses and dressage. The company, based in Sandy, Utah, provides affordable, top-quality dressage arenas and arena footing, as well as horse jumps and other barn supplies. Premier Equestrian’s dressage arenas are used at top competitions such as the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships and the U.S. Dressage Finals. Premier Equestrian also provided the dressage and driving arenas for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Premier’s dressage arena packages include rings built with maintenance-free, horse safe materials. The company also offers horse jumps, barn and stable equipment, gifts, DVDs, and books, including Betsy Steiner’s book, A Gymnastic Riding System Using Mind, Body, and Spirit, available for purchase on the Premier Equestrian website.
