Premier Equestrian Hosts the ESP Spring Series
$25,000 Spring Welcome National Grand Prix on April 9

Premier Equestrian is proud to host the ESP Spring Series $25,000 Spring Welcome National Grand Prix on Friday, April 9. Hot on the hooves of the Winter Equestrian Festival, the 2021 ESP Spring Series began on April 7 and concludes May 16 for five weeks of horse shows. The series will incorporate competition at both the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) and Equestrian Village.

All of the classed for Spring I, held April 7–11, will be on the main grounds at PBIEC. Featured classes include the $25,000 Premier Equestrian National Grand Prix, as well as a $10,000 National Hunter Derby and a $35,000 National Grand Prix.

New this year, Spring II and Spring III will be internationally rated at the CSI3* level, offering greater prize money as well as opportunities for FEI ranking points. Additionally, both of those weeks will offer hunters the opportunity to compete in the International Arena at PBIEC.

In 2020, Premier Equestrian upgraded the International Arena at PBIEC with Premier ProTex Footing Product and OTTO Sport Base Mats, available exclusively at Premier Equestrian. The International Arena’s state-of-the-art footing surface is a custom blend, which combines specifically engineered sands and a balance of fibers and textiles from Premier’s ProTex Footing additive. The formula was designed to stabilize the sand, providing horses competing at PBIEC with superior grip, firmness, cushion, and responsiveness.

For the last decade, Premier Equestrian has been studying how equestrian arena surfaces interact with horse biomechanics. All Premier Equestrian arena footing products are formulated with biomechanics and injury prevention in mind.

Premier Equestrian is North America’s leading supplier of high-quality footing products, arena groomers, OTTO Sport base mat systems, and arena consultation. Premier Equestrian is a recognized expert in horse arena footing as it relates to equine biomechanics. This knowledge is used daily to help horse owners across North America improve arenas and footing.
