Wellington, FL (January 17, 2019) – As the exciting 2019 season gets underway in Wellington, Florida, Heidi Zorn, President and Co-Founder of Premier Equestrian has been busier than ever seeking out exceptional people to honor with the prestigious Premier Equestrian Award. During Week One of the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, there was no question about which person to honor. Zorn named Allyn Mann of Adequan as the first Premier Equestrian of the season. “Premier Equestrian likes to recognize and support athletes, contributors and people who help equestrian sport and who help the horses themselves,” she explains, “and with somebody like Allyn with Adequan… well, it just doesn’t get any better than that for someone who’s helping horses.”
Mann says he is humbled by having the opportunity to receive an award like this and to be named a “Premier Equestrian”. He explains that it’s the love of the horse that drives him to do all he does. “I’ve been so blessed to be around these animals for, now, 46 years,” Mann describes, “Just the opportunity to help these animals stay healthy and to love the people who invest time, effort, money, and many resources into doing something they love is really a win-win for all of us.” Zorn confirms that it is this attitude and devotion to equestrian sport that made her decision easy.
She also recognizes the contributions that Adequan makes to all areas of equestrian sport. Mann adds, “I really don’t think too much about what I’m doing, but just trying to bring joy and love to everyone else. Having a product like Adequan makes the journey more enjoyable because it is such a wonderful product.” He continues, “It really has helped to extend the longevity of these horses and their careers.”
Mann reflects fondly about his past and vast experience in the horse world. He explains that he got his start many years ago cleaning stalls for no money in the Standardbred industry. “I cleaned each stall as if I were going to sleep in it” he smiles, “because I felt it was the horse’s home. From that point on”, Mann describes, “opportunities continued to present themselves and I eventually transitioned from being actively involved in the horse world to helping all horses in all disciplines by spending time in the pharmaceutical world providing quality products for the health and wellbeing of these beautiful animals.”

It’s just tremendous!”
